What to Expect Before, During & After Your Peel

Before Your Appointment

Your esthetician may advise you to avoid retinoids, exfoliants, and sun exposure for several days prior to your peel. While a thorough clean will be done prior to your peel, ensuring product residue is removed prior to your peel, it’s important to enter into your treatment without the risk of unintended chemical reactions, or with your skin in a state of irritation or excessive sensitivity. 

During the Treatment

Most sessions last 55 minutes. You may feel a mild tingling or warmth as the solution works. Afterward, a cooling mask and hydrating SPF are applied to protect your skin.

Aftercare Tips

• Skin may appear slightly red or tight
• Light flaking or peeling may occur, depending on the peel’s strength
• Avoid direct sun exposure, heat, and harsh skincare products for 3–5 days
• Keep skin hydrated and always wear SPF
