What to Expect Before & After Your Wax

Before Your Appointment

  • Hands off! Let your hair grow naturally to at least ¼ inch. Shaving, tweezing, and waxing between sessions can lead to ingrown hairs, and some hair being too short to wax when you come back for service.
  • Avoid lotions, oils, or intense exfoliation the day of. We will apply all needed exfoliants and powders for a smooth finish, but unknown products can interfere with your service and lead to complications like ineffectual removal or even infection.
  • Skip tanning beds and hot workouts right before your session. Skin irritation, inflammation, and sweat can interfere with your results.

After Your Appointment

  • Wear loose clothing to avoid irritation
  • Avoid heat, steam, and exfoliation for 24–48 hours
